(247 words) For four years, the famous Russian writer Ivan Sergeevich Turgenev worked diligently on the series “Notes of the Hunter”, which included the instructive story “Singers”. Using the hero as an example, the author shows how much music affects the human soul.
Upon arrival in the small village of Kolotovka, the narrator found out that in the tavern Nikolai Ivanitch will have a performance of singers: a rowman and Yashka-Turk. The first speaker was unshakably confident in his victory, but luck was on the side of the doubting Jacob. This is a puny-looking man who was very worried before going on stage, and therefore gave the impression of an ordinary timid loser. Ivan Turgenev contrasts two characters. By social status, the row is rich, and Yasha is poor. Even before the performance, the first candidate has a name, while the second, unfortunately, does not. Despite this, it is Turku who holds the well-deserved victory. The difference between the singers was that although the rower performed the song beautifully, he did not affect her aching souls of the audience, and Yasha, perhaps with a lower status, was able to penetrate the hearts of people. His talented singing caused tears in strong men, their wives, made them think about their far-hidden skeletons in the closet. A long silence and the wet eyes of the audience showed who the true creator is. Yashka Turok sang not only with his voice, but with his whole inner world, exposing him in front of people. Therefore, the emotional palette of his vocals is much richer than that of the row.
Thus, through Yashka-Turk, a famous writer showed readers that there is still a ray of light - art. It makes you think about the important in the dark routine of life and the endless stream of affairs. It is this ray that can illuminate the everyday reality and consciousness of people.
